Long story short, we chose this name because of our 3 year old black labrador, Rebel. We brought her home when she was only 8 weeks old, but I had picked her several weeks before. While all of her siblings were sleeping, she would crawl over top of them and try to bite their ears to wake them up. She stood out to me because she was a rebel.

That’s kind of what we want to do with this platform. We want to stand out from the rest. And since renegade is a synonym for the word rebel, it seemed perfect for us. We’re renegades, and we want to keep it that way. After all, life is just more fun whenever you don’t live by the rules isn’t that right?

Now I’m just gonna be honest, I never saw myself starting a blog, but here we are. I want to share some things that have helped me become a better “dog mom” and have made life with three crazy dogs a little bit easier.
